FATHERLAND - Defenders of the Reich

Airsoft/Milsim Event

Location:
HQ Airsoft (RAF Driffield) - YO25 9HD

Story:

The U.S. XIX Corps has rolled into Germany. For 6 days now the American artillery has rained down around Aachen and Würselen denying the German forces any freedom of movement during the daylight hours, however the nights are growing longer, easing the pressure off of an already tired German force largely made up of boys and old men. General Charles Harrison Corlett’s objective is to clear and liberate Aachen.

Würselen is a town in the borough of Aachen on North Eastern flank. It is housing thousands of German reinforcements and must be held back from joining forces with units within Aachen making them vulnerable.

German forces from the area vary, Kreigsmarine and Luftwaffe have been conscripted into fighting units in order to bolster defenses in the district along with thousands of Volksgrenadier and Volksturm. Reports suggest that the 1st, 2nd and 12th SS Panzer divisions have been pulled back from positions to refit.

Objectives:

  • The Allies must punch a hole in German defenses and push the Germans completely out and of Würselen.

  • The Germans hold every cm of Germany that they can.

Airsoft/Milsim Event

Location:
Spec Ops (The Rock) - DT5 2EG

Absolutely under no circumstances are red, pink or orange smokes to be used, these are distress signal colours for the coast guard!

Story:

Tunisia, 1943. The Battle of Medenine was a costly failure for the 8th Army. At the Battle of the Mareth Line the Montgomery’s 8th Army was contained by the vast German defences. The plan, Operation Supercharge II, with New Zealand Corps Reinforced by the 1st Armoured Division is intended to break through the 164th leichte Afrika Division and 21st Panzer Divisions defences of the dreaded Tebaga Gap.

The broken terrain of southern Tunisia, with difficult rocky ridge lines and desert with limited room for manoeuvre is lethal channeled ground, flanked by the expansive Djebal Tabaga on the left and Djebal Metab on the right!

Objectives:
